Federation Square






Federation Square was completed in October 2002 and is located in the CBD of Melbourne. The architects for this project were; Lab Architecture and Bates Smart. The Atrium venue is constructed with glass, steel and zinc. The exposed galvanised frame is constructed with triangular geometric shapes, creating intersting steel structural work, as shown above.

Far out! I love Federation Square. Such an impressive building. I even love the fact that some people hate it! Not sure why.
These are great photos Elise. Particularly, the close detail. It clearly shows the intricate workmanship that went into the construction of it.
